Last year was the first time that I left my iPhone for more than a month and switch to Android. I used the Galaxy S7 for around 5 Months until the iPhone 7 came out. I've always liked Android but until a couple years ago it just wasn't as good as iOS and when I say good I mean the apps available on the OS were not as good as those on iOS.

Switching from iPhone 7 to Galaxy S8

I believe 2017 is the first year that it doesn't really matter what phone you choose because all of them are going to be pretty much the same. The iPhone 8 will look and function very similarly to the Galaxy S8 and both devices have lots of features which end up accomplishing the same thing. I sold my iPhone 7 a couple of weeks ago in preparation for the Galaxy S8 because it is the best smartphone ever made. The combination of materials, features, software, and design of the phone make it the most comfortable smartphone I have held and it sports the most beautiful screen I have seen. The iPhone 8 will most like match all this but we are still months away from an announcement this means it's currently Samsung's turn to shine.

I ended up purchasing the Silver since I have had a black phone for the past couple of years and Samsung has given all the S8 colors black fronts which is perfect. If you have yet to see one in person, I highly reccomend going to a store and checking it out. This is what phones will look like for the next couple of years until the foldable displays become more affordable. I’ll be making some videos on the S8 this coming weekend so stay tuned for those!

Sony Announces New PS Vita 2000, Will Come in Six Colors [Video]

Along with the PS Vita TV, Sony also announced a new PS Vita handheld console which will come is six colors (white, pale blue, lime green, prink, grey and black). The device will also sport a built in 1GB memory card and one hour longer of battery life. The screen will now be a five inch LCD as opposed to the OLED screen in the current model, we’ll see how that works out. Sony also decided to get rid of their proprietary charging port and instead put a Micro-USB charging port. Notably, the device is 20 percent lighter and 15 percent thinner than the current model and, according to Sony, has improved ergonomics.

The new Vita will be out on October 10th in Japan for $190 US Dollars ($10 cheaper than the current model, which was recently reduced to $200), no word yet on when it is coming to the states but I am guessing sometime next year since Japan won’t get the PS4 until the 22nd of February. Check out the video below of the new PS Vita…

Grand Theft Auto 5 Gets Official Gameplay Video and Release Date

Grand Theft Auto 5 will be launching on September 17th for Xbox 360 and PS3, there’s no word yet on whether or not it will come to PC, Xbox One, or PS4. There are tons of things to do in the open world and a number of different ways to approach heists. I’ve never been a fan of the Grand Theft Auto series but this game sure does look promising. For now, enjoy the video below of some Grand Theft Auto 5 gameplay.

What is different about Sony’s New PS4 Controller?

At today’s Sony Playstation Conference they announced the PlayStation 4 along with a new DualShock controller. The DualShock 4 was the only hardware shown today by Sony and has the same general design as its predecessors. The controller’s most noticeable design change is the touchpad in the middle but it also sports a share button, headphone jack, and a light bar which will be used to identify players by color coding and the PlayStation camera will be able to track it for more advanced motion controls.

Last night at Sony’s E3 Press Conference Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed III Liberation which is a new chapter in the Assassin’s Creed saga and was designed exclusively for the PlayStation Vita. Unlike other Assassin’s Creed titles this game will feature the first playable female assassin in the series history. The game will launch this year on October 30th. PS Vita won’t respond? Blue Light of Death Fix

If your new PS Vita has stopped responding or wont turn on then you might have the “Blue Light of Death”. Luckily there is a fix but before doing this make sure your PS Vita didn’t just run out of battery.
First thing your going to want to do is hold down your power button for about 30 seconds until you see the following screen:

-First, try restarting your PS Vita system and that should (most of the time) fix your problem.

-If that did not change anything then try Rebuilding the Database, this normally fixes a lot of problems.

-If that still did not work then you could try updating but I doubt that would work. As a last resort you could wipe your PS Vita by restoring it which would wipe your systems memory but it’s much better than formatting your memory card since you would loose all game saves and downloads.

-If nothing worked by now then…you are doomed. You should try getting an exchange from where you purchased it or sell it on Ebay. If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
