Google announces the Nexus 7 tablet with Android 4.1 for $199, Available for pre-order today
1Today Google announced the Nexus 7 tablet which is the currently the only device that will be shipping with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The 7 inch tablet takes advantage of magazines and movies and comes with tweaked YouTube and Maps apps. The tablet will have a quad-core Tegra 3, 1.2-megapixel front camera, NFC and 1280 x 800, and an IPS-based LCD. The tablet will set you back $199 for an 8GB model and $249 for a 16GB version, both don’t have SD card slots so you cannot expand the storage but have a pretty good price when you look back at the specs. The tablet will come bundled with a $25 Google Play credit and and some extra bundled content.
